The Same Woman. Two Different Colors.

One shade drains the skin and flattens the features. The other lifts everything. That is the whole idea behind color analysis, and it is the difference your palette makes every morning.

Wrong palette: skin looks dull and tired. Right palette: skin looks lit from within.

Questions, answered.

How accurate is AI color analysis?
Our model reads the same signals a trained color analyst does: the undertone of your skin, the depth and warmth of your hair, and the contrast between your features. It maps those onto the 12-season system, and it stays consistent in a way a human eye on a cloudy afternoon does not. You can always retake the analysis with a better-lit photo if the result does not feel right.
What kind of photo do I need?
A front-facing selfie in daylight, ideally near a window rather than under a warm ceiling bulb. No makeup, no filter, and hair pushed back from your face if you can. That is it. Artificial light and heavy editing are the two things that pull a result off, so if a photo feels borderline, take one more by the window and compare.
Does it still work if my hair is dyed or going grey?
Yes. Your season is anchored in your skin undertone and the natural contrast between your features, not in whatever shade your hair is this month. Dyed and grey hair are read as the color they currently are, so the palette you get is the one that works with the face people are actually looking at. Worth retaking the analysis after a big color change.
How is this different from a $200 in-person consultation?
A consultation gives you an hour with an analyst and a set of swatches. This gives you the same seasonal verdict in about two minutes, plus a palette that lives on your phone for every shopping trip afterwards. Most people use it to find out whether the deeper consultation is even worth booking.
What do I actually get at the end?
Your color season and sub-season, an explanation of why those shades work with your natural coloring, and your personalized palette: the colors to wear near your face, the neutrals to build on, and the shades to leave on the rack.
Does this mean I can never wear my favorite color again?
No. A palette is a shortcut, not a rulebook. The colors in it are the ones that do the work for you with no effort, which is why they belong near your face. Anything outside it still works further down the outfit, in a bag, or in a print broken up with shades that do suit you. Most people keep wearing what they love and just wear it lower.
What does it cost, and do I need an account?
My Color Seasons is a paid subscription. You create an account and subscribe before the analysis runs, so there is no free version to try first. What you are paying for is not a one-off report: your season, your palette and Outfit Check stay with you for as long as you subscribe, and you can cancel whenever you like. If it is not what you hoped for, our money-back policy sets out how to claim a refund.
What happens to my photo?
It is used to run your analysis and nothing else. It is not published, not sold, and not shared with advertisers. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing contact@mycolorseasons.com, and our privacy policy sets out exactly what we keep and for how long.
